    is it beter .. a flowmaster or a magnaflow ? for a toyota tacoma 2000 4x4 for more performance . also what size of tail pipe ? 2" or 3" .. thnks !!!

    flowmaster for sound and magnaflow for performance, just don't expect anything drastic. Also, look into the aero exhaust

    K&N FIPK intake, leveled, Apexcone HID conversion, pro comp alloys, magnaflow exhaust
    For your engine I would stay with 2 1/4" piping and the muffler is up to you. I like the sounds of both but flowmaster can sound raspy at higher rpm's.

    with a magnaflow, you won't really notice a difference in performance unless you really have heavy mods..supercharger/turbo... i put 2.5 piping on my truck, and had both mufflers. magnaflow loses it's packing inside after a while and will change tone as time goes on. flowmaster would stay the same if not get lower.. our low displacement engines won't make it sound like a v8, but gives it a nice growl.
    if you're looking for sound..either one is fine and more than loud.
    if you're into performance and not going any further than an intake.. get a flowmaster.

    i set off car alarms all the time now with my set up.
