It is used for tuning the ECU. In short, it will alter the AFR table and spark table.

If you got money to spend on a new tune everytime you do a new mod, if you can find an authorized Unichip tuner, and if that autorized tuner knows how to tune, then you might be able to get by.

my .02 - save your money. There are MUCH better tuning options available. The APR X-1 which is superior to all, or if your on a budget the URD MAF Cal will alter your AFR for a safe/powerful tune.

Ran the MAF Cali= Great product if you tune it write...

Now running APR X-1= F'n Awesome, and thats just with a preloaded tune...
