-Yes, the stock belt will work with the 2.85 pulley

-You will need a 3 jaw puller so you evenly distribute the load on the pulley when pulling it off it will make it easier. This is what I used http://www.sears.com/craftsman-2-3-jaw-gear-puller/p-00946906000P

-You will also need the URD Install Tool for press fit pulleys if you do not already have one. http://urdusa.com/Pulleys-Superchar...ss-Fit-Supercharger-Pulleys/product_info.html

Just follow the directions that come with the pulley and install tool and you should have no problems it took me longer to find all my tools and parts then it did to change the pulley.

This subject of CAI has been beat to death on here. The factory setup is a CAI. The aftermarket ones dont really improve anything which includes MPG, HP & TQ. Most people put them on for a more aesthetically pleasing look compared to the bulky stock CAI. If you were to get one I would recommend the AFE Stage 2 Si. It is what I currently have on my truck.

Mostly just looks they claim the suregrip reduces belt slippage and extends belt life but I have no experience with them. I have the stealth 2.85 because I wanted to retain the factory appearance.

Did the strath pulley make a noticeable difference in power?

It will get the whp a little closer to 300 whp, if the only mod is the TRD s/c.

It did make a noticeable difference not huge but still noticeable. I plan on making some pulls on the dyno this fall to see what I have gained only mods are the Stealth 2.85 pulley and FPR mod since the last time I had it on the dyno. I also want to make a couple of pulls with and without the FPR mod just for curiosity sake.

I'm curious why people run the FPR mod with only a 2.85 pulley? I thought this only benefits a 2.7 pulley ratio or smaller. I mean, the majority of these reflashes are rich to begin with... And they're driving around with afrs 10:1 at WOT. Trucks on the 2.85 at sea level with free flow exhaust headers back maybe:rolleyes: Even then sdxrunner wasn't doing this till addition of the nst kit... And he ran the tacoma harder than most... Regardless, I too curious to see the difference in dyno runs...
