TRD S/C: 0-60 in 4.86 seconds

So everybody showing off their TRD S/C, makes me want to show off mine.

Mods are TRD S/C, K&N CAI, DT Long Tube Headers, URD Catback, APR X-1 Stage I kit, and APR 7th Injector.

0-60 in 4.86 seconds. And if you notice I didn't have the cleanest 1-2 shift. I have timed a clean 1-2 shift in my truck between .41-.48 seconds (all recorded via a datalog from the ECU and X-1 controller). I didn't log this run, but would assume my 1-2 shift would be in the .6-.7 range.

Here is a comparison of other similarly fast vehicles.

2004 Mercedes-Benz E 55 AMG 4.49 s
2000 Maserati 3200 GT 4.50 s
2003 Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG 4.60 s

That is fucking nuts! I can't believe that a Tacoma can out run a WRX STI. Great Job! Now lets do mine.

My fastest mph is 106.8mph on the stock pulley at 5-6psi of boost. My quickest ET is 13.38, with a 2.08 60' on street tires (also done at 5-6psi).

No they don't. With tacoma's bet DBW (drive by wire), the RPMS hang more then on a cars with a traditional throttle body, so power shifting (aka no-lift shift) is done very easily.

How did you get these numbers...not doubting you but where they at a track? To get a trap speed of 106 you need about 400 HP on the motor assuming a total truck weight of 3900lbs?

Yes they were at the track. How else would I get those numbers? I have videos to prove it if you still don't think its real. My weight was 3940lbs.

Here are two passes where I trapped 106mph+ (106.80 and 106.27)

No problem. The 13.6 run was done with a 2.28 60' as well. A launch on some DR's and I'm sure I could touch the 12's.

Get some BFG drags and run low pressure like 12-18 psi and launch hard...

With my 325s the front of the car lifts off the ground.
