This is probably a dumb question but how are you supposed to take out the filter? Are you supposed to remove the tube from the box? or can you just unclip and lift up? kinda confused. and how often should i be cleaning/replacing it. Ive had this one about a year and a half with 15k miles. Thanks for any input.

Doesn't that filter have the little push up thing that tells you when to clean it?

Yup, just undo the clips and lift the box on the clip side a little until you're able to slide the box top to the right. That should give you enough access to the filter to slip it out.

Hi guys, need some help. I’m having a hard time removing the top box to access the filer. I undo the 2 clips, but still unable to really budge the back end where the 2 black hinges are at. Any advice would help. Thanks
