hey guys...new member to the forum and had a question regarding the K&N 63-series air intake for a 2014 Tacoma...

i recently purchased this intake and installed it on my truck..while installing, the little plastic (barb nylon) vent tubing that came with the intake broke off..so, i replaced it with a brass barb instead. everything works like it should, but i wanted to know if this would have any damaging effect to the intake itself in the long run, or overall damage to my trucks system.. any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!
