Most cars built today are making as much power as possible and still getting reasonable mileage.

The answer is NO there is nothing that will add significant power without forced induction period.

Unless you do the LS1 mod like I did..then you can have 30mpg and 300+ hp, just not both at once, lol.

heres an Idea, for almost the same price. why cant you buy the Holly sinper EFI throttle body (shown here https://www.carid.com/sniper/sniper-efi-throttle-body-326061209.html ) in 92mm and retro fit(not really because its a universal fit) it to the intake. the stock throttle body bore is 65mm, the holly efi bore is 92mm, that's a 27mm jump in size and should suck way more air to provide way more horse power. (and sounds way better than a paper weight)

Just buy it! It will make you feel faster and you can add it to your mod list. It increases the felt air flow and the extra chamber cools down the air before the throttle body! You may get a engine light code for thrown air sensors but it's fine you can reset that light easy. And the best part is that you can customize the color so your engine bay gets a little color!

This is the only type of throttle body spacer that works.

As for some of the prior posts, N/A bolt-ons , and some type of tuning, can net the 1GR a little more power than bolting on the TRD/Magnuson in unmodified form, to a stock truck. In both whp and wtq.

    That is a Fact.

I had a poweraid throttle body spacer and it did nothing but make a whistling noise at partial throttle. I took it off because my engine cover wasn't lining up right with it on there. It did however make a noticeable difference on my old Chevy S10 with the throttle body injection. With carbs and tbi's the spacer is better able to mix the fuel and air before entering the combustion chamber. In the case of today's fuel injection it does nothing.

I know it's an older thread but I have some input. I just installed the power aid throttle body spacer on my 18 TRD sport manual transmission. From what I can tell, it pulls a little better in the mid-range now, not a huge difference but enough to where I notice it. No whistling sound is emitted. I also have a 3" cat-back flowmaster installed, and a Japanese D-1 spec super voltage stabilizer and grounding kit. I installed the trd intake yesterday and it pulls a little bit more aggressive with it, with the emphasis on "a little bit". My dealer wanted $515 for the TRD CAI but I found it for $400 shipped at a NH dealership. I don't think its worth the $400 but here in Ca its the only CAI kit that is smog legal, no company will ship any of the other CAI kits to this state. As it is even the throttle body spacer isn't legal in Ca, I was able to get one because I took a trip to VA and just walked into an Autozone and got it. My assessment is that the truck pulls harder throughout all 6 gears with the power coming on the hardest after 3500 rpm, but I think its a combination of all the modifications working in unison. I also ordered the pedal commander yesterday so hopefully I'll see a positive response with that. I did read up on the OVtune but I'm not really comfortable messing with the computer on my truck that isn't even 1 year old yet with less then 3000 miles, I have the 10 year extended warranty and I just don't want to possibly interfere with that in any way. Also, I see all the positive feedback on the OVtune but also there is a number of people who have experienced problems with it. I guess I'm just not totally convinced that the tune is foolproof and has all its bugs worked out. Well this is my experience for what it's worth. Allan..

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
In all honesty, your assessment means nothing without a baseline comparison of actual data. Butt dynos are flawed.

Like I said it's only my own personal experience. I don't know much about butt dynos, I just know how my vehicle behaved with some modifications. Of course to really know of any measurable difference a dynamometer test would be necessary.

AFE Intake, Throttle Body Spacer, & Cat-Back Exhaust - Pedal Commander, Icon Rebound
    *4 Runner not Taco

I can speak to the trifecta of the AFE throttle body spacer, intake, and cat-back exhaust (as well as the Pedal Commander)

The truck flat out moves now - and is a ton more fun to drive. It's not the ice cream truck that it used to be
