Well I didn't want to pop $680 or more on a Magnaflow exhaust. But I did want to get rid of that piss poor sound and restriction of the original exhaust.
So I bought a Magnaflow muffler #12276. It is about 24" long and 7"x7" in diameter. I had a great local shop "Reds Muffler" in Urbana,IL. make connecting pipes to adapt it and weld it all up.

Boy does it sound good, really good ! Very deep throaty sound, It might help some on the fuel mileage, due to less restriction.
