I need some help on finding a good muffler for my 96 V6 Tacoma. I want it to have a deep rumble but i don't want it really loud. Any ideas would be helpful..

    Thanks

For "Sound" look into a Flowmaster series 50. Dont expect a performance gain, as the Flowmasters actually take a few h.p. off the stock set up.

Not sure. I have only run them on a dyno. If there is any resonance, you can have a resonator added behind the muffler.

Any power adders you would suggest besides a supercharger.

Nothing that you would feel. Most like CAI and exhaust only give the impression that there is more power, they offer very little in real HP. IMHO

    X2.
On the first gens, Headers, and a decent exhaust are the only things that will give a noticable gain. Maybe 20 h.p.

IIRC, its 2.25 after the "Y" pipe.

Ive got a Borla dual out with just a AMSOIL drop-in filter. I'll vid and post the following:

    1) Interior sound while on freeway
    2) Interior sound going uphill stop/go
    3) Exterior sound at startup with revving

Gonna try to post it this weekend..

I'm shopping around for a catback for my 01 3.4L. I just did a 4" deckplate for better intake (happy with the results!), now I'm looking for a good bang for the buck with my exhaust. What are some good catbacks?

Find some TRD headers, and get a dynomax super turbo muffler. Best gains I have found on that engine.
