So my urd MAF cal is waiting at my house for me to get home and install it how many on here have done this and is it hard .. I've got lots of experience with being a mechanic so can't wait to get home and install it to see if it actually makes a different 9cb0fd3742999640af3307a90a32794f_a7aa02c9e8a9f4d2add8a2d410d989318cfe8b48.jpg

I'm very interested in seeing the results on this. It wasn't until recently I read that we could actually use this on the 09+ vehicles. Just no plug and play. That means we are not totally screwed for mods right? Def want to see how this turns out.

Yeah I hear it can be calibrated to Match the mods on a specific vehicle. Ok that's what I wanted to check in on, still gotta splice wires huh?

Well that's a shame. Hope they come out with the harness plugs by the time my warranty is up. I just don't like the idea of cutting it all up. I would like to see the results of your installation though.

Well she is installed and must say it has better throttle response and fills a good bit stronger 2wd is useless if you stomp it.. Would have liked to dyno it before and after but it feels stronger anyways .. Not to hard to install but you are working in a tight space but all in all it's easy if you follow instructions

Correct me if I am wrong, but now that it is installed ( not being plug and play) do you change the programming by getting a custom tune sent to you from URD? I assume the tune is based on mods and tried to cover the middle ground best it can. Then you upload that tune to it? I could be way off base here but I just learned that this thing was actually an option if you are willing to cut wires.

They tune it before it's sent to you based on your mods you tell them you have but it can also be tuned again if you want

My concern is getting it all wired in there and then wanting to add something else later on.

You are lucky. You have an 08 so you can just buy the harness and plug it in.
