    This sounds very promising!!!

I was hoping the reason I wasn't seeing much of an increase in MPG with the EcoBlock on my truck was because of the poor fitting O-ring. And when I received and installed my new O-ring it was incredibly obvious how much smaller and thinner my OEM O-ring was... There was no way I could hold the MAF and EcoBlock upside down and not have them fall apart. But now with the new O-ring I had to lubricate it a bit just to push the two pieces together and there is definitely an air tight seal now. I'll run another 4 or 5 tanks through it before I get too excited but for now it's good to know that I shouldn't have a leak anymore.

I happened to see this vid on another site. I think it came out a couple of days ago. The car has a Crawford tune, and while it doesn't highlight the Eco Block specifically it's fun to watch.

Just want to say thanks to Crawford for the quick customer service. I emailed asking about some replacement rings for my Tacoma and my wife's forester and within 3 or 4 days I got the replacements. Both were a much better fit than before.

Okay, I have 5 tanks thru the truck since I recalibrated the Ultra Gauge. On fuel ups, the calibration has always been within 1/10 of a gallon on a 15+ gallon refill. Fuel mileage average has been 20.654 on the last 5 fuel ups with a total of 1637.10 miles driven.

I am confident that I am averaging well above 1 mpg better since the Eco Block has been installed.

I know its not your responsibility to fix but it may just be easier to do this. Take calipers and measure the od and id of the groove, calculate the centerline for a diameter. Then measure the depth of the groove. Take that depth number and add about 8-10 percent. That should be your oring diameter. Go online and order a dash oring made of viton or epdm that comes closest to those numbers. Should be very cheap and solve your problem.

Maybe Quirt could at least give us the oring info so we can go ahead and purchase it :notsure: . I've also emailed them with no response. I removed the eco-block because of the loose fitment and I did not see a mpg increase (if there was it was negligible). I want to give it one more shot with the replacement oring before considering returning the eco-block. Kind of sucks that the eco-block was not made the right size in the first place, but at least there is a simple work around...

Old vs new. Old was supper loose. New required a little lubrication to slide in correctly.

    Thanks for the picture.

Do you mean lubrication to slide in to the MAF sensor, to the eco-block, or both?

After installing the o ring on the MAF sensor put a light coat of the lubrication of your choice. You don't need much at all
