I'm looking at getting the stock muffler swapped out and putting in a Borla ProXS muffler. Any one out there done this? Any Borla model number recommendations? I'm thinking the 40658 should work. Offset in, center out, 2.25 in and out. Hopefully the stock hangers can be used. Any owners out there that can post pics would be greatly appreciated.

I did that exact swap. The stock muffler is about 6" longer than the borla so the exhaust shop had to cut and weld a section of pipe to be able to use the stock hanger locations.

Thanks man! Thats the kind of feedback I was looking for. As much as I want to get the cat-back kit, I just don't see it worth spending the $$$. If you can, can you post a pic? I'd love to see it. How do you like it?

I wont spend the money on a catback for these trucks, unless you want a 3" its a waste. No pics, just looks like an oval muffler under there. I tried the TRD catback, had gotten agreat deal on a used one several years ago, then replaced that with a magnaflow muffler, then finally the Borla muffler. Trd wasnt for me, IMO sounded ricey off idle and had a drone, Magnaflow also had a drone, Borla was more expense, but was just about right. I have noticed that after a few years, borla is getting louder, not sure when it will turn annoying.
