I have ordered a greddy emanage blue but am waiting for it to arrive in the meantime I thought I might be able to get it running a bit better with the stock ecu but cant seem to find out how, I have found on the forums around the traps the same thing happening to other people, but no one has a solution except change ecu. thought you yanks might have an idea?

Well, one problem per say, is that you have a manual, and no BOV. That will cause a pressure build up back to the turbo, every time you shift. Depending on how high the RPM, how much boost you are running, if you have a ported shroud, and how quickly you shift, you can cause some pretty severe compressor surge.

That in itself will destroy a turbo.

As for the MAF and over rich issue, need more info.

EDIT**** Ok, need some pictures. Depending on what the tubing looks like where your MAF sensor is located, I think I know what the issue is. Post up a picture of the engine bay, and a one of the intake pre turbo.

I would advise running a bov. 5psi would probably not be enough pressure to set it off especially on an auto. But it that waste gate ever sticks there is a high possibility you will back spool the turbo.
