    Did you ask for the price quote or did you tell them your price and see if they would bite? I have been actively shopping and I have found when I tell them the price most will match, but when I ask for the best price it isn't even close.......

    edit: that is for install, as I previously got the best price for the supercharger itself by finding the cheapest online and offering
    100 bucks less at the dealership in the states. Up in canada it's not even worth my time to discuss it.

    TRD Super Charger, UWS, All Pro expedition leaf spring pac, Icon stage 4 suspension, B.A.M.F LCA Skid plates, TC weld-on upper coil bucket tower gussets, TC weld-on spindle gussets with sway bar mounts. RTT, Thule Roof Rack, Thule, Leitner Active Cargo System, Warn Zeon 10 Winch, All Pro Front Bumper, All Pro Apex Sliders, Nilight - 60005C-A 20Inch 126W Spot Flood Combo Led Light Bar.
    I went online and found the best price for the sc and kit. I then emailed all the service shops I was willing to drive too.

    I asked them to meet or beat the online pricing I had found. Killeen matched it and knocked labor down from $90ish to $70ish an hour.

    If you have the TRD s/c and nor other tuning device, then I am sure you already have the TRD reflash. Otherwise, you truck would be running in a very unsafe condition, or very poorly. Getting another reflash won't do anything for you. Plus, you can only flash the ECU once, and that's it.

    The MAF Cal from URD would and tuned would wake it up a nice bit, for the price.

    I installed an SC over the weekend and there was one plug that was plugged in to a vacuum port near the back of the intake plutonium. I did a search and it appears that is no longer used?

    Correct, that plug is no longer used with the S/C. It is only for rhe ACIS system on the OEM intake manifold.

    Since I installed the supercharger the VSC light and check engine light have come on a couple times. I disconnected the battery and reset the ECU but they eventually come back. It happened once with the OEM intake and once with the TRD CAI.

    I am lifted 2.5" but have never had the lights come on before.

    Unfortunately, California doesn't allow the rental of the OBD 2 scanner.

    Anyone have any input before I buy a scanner?

    Seems to me the the evap solenoid on the driver's side of the s/c, is hooked up improperly with the vacuum lines. Take some pictures of that side and post them up. It will help.

    Just took it out and punched it, no error codes.

    Im looking into the TRD super charger as well. i dont want to fry my engine. ive heard its hard on em.... so instead i was gonna go with TRD CAI and TRD cat back exhaust to be safe

    i want at least 150,000 out of this truck.. and i feel like with the TRD S/C the life will be less even with typical driving.

    i have 56,000 miles now

    any day now gettin my 2013 tacoma trd sport double cab. looking to see if the dealer will install a s/c before sale and put the price into the deal. does anyone know if the 2012 s/c will fit the 2013? havent asked the dealer yet juss asking around for the moment, havent been able to find it out anywhere online for the past 3 days.
