    i like the mobil 1 filter, sure its a little more buy i think the oil comes out cleaner after 5 k miles with the synthetic filter than without. i use the valvoline high mileage oil. my truck had 130k and has been on this oil since 100k.

    my truck does not smoke and runs clean, might as well stick with what it has had for the last 30k miles.
