i want to get a flowmaster 50 and i was wondering should i cut out my stock muffler and weld in a new flowmaster muffler or buy the whole new flowmaster 50 with dual outs. and is there any real performance difference between the 2?

Your not gonna gain power either way. I'm not positive but I think the dual pipes are a little bit louder but probly not much. I like the look of the dual pipes thats why I got the dual kit, you just need to decide if you wanna pay for looks.

I bought the kit from autoanything.com, $380 with free shipping. its not cheap but for me it was worth it. You can find somebody to fabricate dual pipes for cheaper, but I couldn't find anyone I wanted to trust for a quality job so I just did it myself.
