That doesn't really answer the question. Performance in what way? Street performance? Offroad performance? Rock crawling? High-speed offroad stuff?

Performance is relative. My truck will work wonders offroad but will 3-wheel and damn near flip going around a corner on the street.

How will you use your truck?

Street performance/jack around at the track.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Well, the truck you purchased has a 4x4 suspension under it. You should rip it all off and start new if street performance is what you are after.

Much clearer now. URD supercharger, lower the truck, fatter front sway bar, custom rear sway bar, wheels and sticky tires, torsion bar to reduce axle wrap and hop. That limited slip differential will serve you well on the road.

Service aside, how much would all of this run for? 25k?

Anyways. After all 3 stages of the URD SC, there arent any other performance parts I could get my hands on to that would help even a bit? Just what you previously mentioned, to help handle the new power?

Call URD. They know more than pretty much anybody about getting power from the 1GR.

At stage 3 you'll have already replaced almost all of the intake and exhaust components.

    Boost = Power

Custom turbo (or twins) with forged internals is the way to go if you are wanting to make ridiculous amounts of power.

Other then that, your next best option is TRD S/C, intake, headers, exhaust, custom tuning (Map ECU 2), and some nitrous. Throw in built internals to hold the extra power and up the n2o shot.

The URD S/C is not compatible with the 09 or 010 models.

For the 09s, tuning is going to be much more custom as the APR X-1 ECU controller is not currently compatible.

Awesome. So how is the turbo (or twins, if you can even do that in the tacoma) with forged internals better than stage 3 URD SC? And what do you mean by forged internals?

With turbos you don't really have a limit on how much boost you can make. In most cases more boost = more power. The URD Stage III s/c is limited because of the size of the rotex s/c. It is belt driven, and can only spin so fast. You would burn out the s/c before you come close to making the boost levels possible with a turbo setup.

Twins will fit. Just find a good shop to make the kit. You get what you pay for.

Forged internals (rods, pistons) are MUCH stronger then the powdered rods/pistons in the stock block. Ideally, you would get pistons with a lower compression ratio (stock is 10:1) that is more boost friendly (anywhere from 8.5:1 to 9.5:1 depending on how much boost you want to run).

I did say money was not an issue... but im still a bit concerned about how high this would run. Ive been hearing about 11 second tacos; is this a realistic goal with, say $60k put into the truck? Friend is mentioning that getting the best possible turbo would be +40 grand.
