Spark plug help!

I ordered some Denso Iridiums from trdpart4u and they sent me IKH22's and I've read that most people replaced the stocks with IKH20's. Problem when I was at the shop the tech wasn't certain they were the right plugs bc the thread was longer then the stock ones so he wouldn't change them. So, even though they are longer can I still use these plugs?

The Denso site does NOT show the 22's as a toyota plug.

http://www.globaldenso.com/en/produc...ce/1056_1.html

I would send them back and get what you requested initially, the 20's.

I spoke with Denso support and they said that they can be used for the Tacoma but would run colder for the TRD supercharger, but he was concerned that the thread was longer. He wanted to know what the original plug part number, which idk bc the plugs are already back in and I don't have the tools to take them out.

Yeah, I would stick with the 20's unless someone chimes in and says otherwise.

I am running the IKH-22 plugs in my truck and have been for over a year.

They will fit, and they will work. Though not recommended for N/A motors as they are a 2-step colder plug.

The IKH20s are great for N/A

XrunnIT, were the threads longer then your original plugs?

They were a plug and play swap.

I pulled out the stock plugs, put the new ones in. Most of the boosted 1GR motors are running the IKH22's.

I can't recall if the threads were longer. But I can tell you, that there are a ton of trucks running them, not just me.
