    SR5 Off Road PKG lifted
My wife and I just inherited a 2000 Tacoma 4x4 SR5 w/ Off Road PKG. It was her father's, he was an ASE Master Mechanic and he loved this truck more than life itself. A friend who used to work at a Detailer could not find 1 single spot of grease.

We'd like to put a camper shell on her but haven't a clue as to where to start looking. Are there any 2000 Tacoma owners out there in T-World who can advise me as to where to start? I'm really clueless but willing to learn. I took her to the local Toyota Dealership and had them give me the once over and I love her even more.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions,
    Dave

Looks good, I've got a 2001, same color, but its not near as shiny as yours still is. As for camper shells, I think You'll have to look in the phone book/online for a local dealer. Around me, there are 3 within about 50 miles, but none are very close. Or you could check craigslist and/or ebay. Brand new you're looking at anywhere from $1000 to $3000 for a fiberglass top, used maybe half that.
