TRD Exhaust

New to Tacos and the forum. I have not even taken deliver yet of 2010 TRD Off RD. Hopefully this week.

Looking for reviews from folks that have or have had the TRD exhaust. After reading many different forum posts there are mixed reviews if they add performance....most leaning towards no.

What do people that have the exhaust think? How does it sound, do you feel it adds any performance? I understand there maybe better aftermarket options but I did not want to mess with a brand new vehicle that much. Did I just waste 5 bills?

Installed the TRD catback about 2 weeks ago. The sound is louder and throatier but not over the top. Love it so far.

installed mine last week. not what i would consider loud but i can hear it and i think it makes my presence known when i roll down my street. as for performance, i have never had ANY exhaust on any of my "stock" vehicles show notable or useable performance gains.

you are basically buying the sound. I didn't notice improved performance at all. Sounds good when you get on it... thats about it..

Put my cat back trd on my 06. If i had it to do over again would put the Borla on less money and Borla makes the trd. Same thing just no trd stamp on the tail pipe if you get the Borla.

BOSAL makes the TRD not borla. And I actually gained 1mpg with it, as once I put it on i was consistanly in the 19's, opposed to the 18's without it. Sounds great, installation was a breeze. Loses its voice at spots in the power band, but every exhaust does. Stainless steel and won't rust in the winter time, very good. Overall I was happy w/ the 399 I spent on it.

Mostly for aesthetics unless you get tuned. Even then, less than 5 hp gain likely.

I'm happy with mine...

With my TRD Intake, TRD Exhaust, URD MAF Sensor Cal., DTLTH, low tire pressure, and preloading I make 0-60 in 5.9 to 6 flat.
