I have contacted a Magnaflow dealer and he quoted me $400 for the Magnaflow Performance Cat-Back Exhaust SKU: MAG16624 and that includes shipping.

    Is this a good price?

What tools will I need to remove and install or am I better off letting a mechanic install?

    Are there any Magnaflow/Tacoma enthusiast?

I got mine for the same price tax included and free shipping. I live in Canada so it was a good deal for me, might not be so good if u live in the states. I have a double cab long box so i had to mod mine because they only have it for double cab short box. It is stupid easy to install all u need is a 10mm wrench. (not positive if thats the exact size). All u need to do is undo 2 bolts and take old system off three hangers. then do same thing in reverse. not jack needed a piece of card board from the box to keep ur back clean.

Awesome! Are you happy with the performance/sound? Did it increase your gas millage?

Ya it sounds great, gas milage hp gain was great. But i put in my trd cool air intake in the same week so i don't know exactly how much it changed it because the cai made a huge difference as well. I would suggest getting the intake if ur looking for better milage as long as u don't have a lead foot, because it makes it way quicker off the line. took me a while to drive normally again.

Does the TRD cai have a bypass valve or something to prevent water from entering the motor?

No worries. TRD has a patented bypass valve that opens if water gets in, saving your engine from water damage. Your motor is all good unless u plan on parking in 5 foot deep water.
