I went to pick it up this morning but when I got there they told me it had a coolant leak they were working on and waiting on it to get warm to see if they fixed it. I said ďIíll get it warm for ya!Ē and took it around the block and brought it back plenty warm. Itís still leaking. The tech said he may have cracked the new water neck so they are ordering another one which should be here tomorrow morning. Otherwise it runs great, the new engine/SC sounds will take some getting used to, but it's a screamer.

Congratulation and enjoy it. It will smooth out after 2-3000 miles.

Did you get the trans TSB? Just curious if there are any issues with having that done prior to the new trd reflash for the 2010's.

I ordered my Supercharger for my 2010 today. I have a question. HAS anyone tried to use the URD underdrive pulley on there install? I really have no desire to play with tuning. I just don't have the time for that anymore.

Also, I see the URD has a very nice y-pipe that removes the secondary cats and retains the secondary O2 bosses. Has anyone tried this?

My goal would be to use both of these. Thats all. I have no other mods except a TRD cat Back.

This truck will NEVER be as fast as my Ram SRT-10. I understand this. But it would be nice to creep into the 13's. I would be content with a low 14 though.

Thanks for any direction!

Are there any emblems, badges, decals, etc. that come with the TRD Supercharger kit ? My dealer is doing the install and I don't want them keeping the cool stuff.
I guess my real question is, what all comes in the box?

Yes, there should be at least two sets of a different size and also a lot of papers. Make sure they give you the -installation manual.

Enjoy your new baby.

You can make it as fast or faster then your 10. But its gonna cost some coin (as it would for any vehicle).

Stock pulley, intake, headers, and a 3" catback had my truck into the 13's with poor launching (trapping 100-101mph).

Added a tune, and 7th injector, and dropped my ET to 13.3-13.5 (still bad launching), bumped up my trap to 105-107mph. Best 60' to date is only 2.09.

I have added another 4psi of boost, a true dual exhaust setup, pulleys, lightweight flywheel and a stage IV clutch. But i've also lowered the my compression ratio by half a point (planning for bigger and better).

So it can be done.. but it will take work.

Have you guys ever driven a Ram SRT-10? Have you run one? I bought one brand new. There is no way in this earth that a comparable equipped Tacoma will ever beat one. The very first time I took my SRT-10 to the track, I spun through the first 2 gears and STILL ran a 13.48 at 104. I eventually had to crawl out of the hole to get a 13.18 at 107. ALL STOCK!!!!! I then flashed it and installed a set of Bassani headers. 12.9's with 2.00 60'. I then installed a FULL B&B system and lowered the rear end so that it would squat more. On the street, 1st and 2nd gears were utterly useless with OE Pirelli tires. My truck never saw rain! I never made it back to the track because I started to travel constantly. A colleague with the same truck and less mods(No full exhaust) ran his at Atco. He had a set of slicks. Ran 12.6's with 1.78 short times. So, to think you can get a Taco to run 12's with a S/C and a set of headers is futile.

The truck weight was 5344 with me in it. As much as I like the Tacoma, and this 2010 is my 3rd one, it sure as hell will never be a SRT-10. Dodge made a great performance truck for us middle aged douche bags that wanted a functionally useless truck.

If I can get a 13.999999999, I will make my day. However, I'm not betting a paycheck....

Keep in mind if you do the install on your own or outside of the dealership, the warranty is only good for 12 months / 12,000 miles. Versus if the dealership installs it you get the balance of the 5 year / 60,000 miles whichever is greater, powertrain warranty.

If you are getting a 2010 and plan on putting on the Supercharger, buy it before you take ownership of the vehicle and the delaership will not charge labor

I guess my real question is, what all comes in the box?

You get the warranty and three sets of stickers. If you click on the camera under my avatar, it will show you the stickers that it comes with as well as the warranty info.

I received my 2010 supercharger yesterday. Im debating whether to install it or wait a month before the motor breaks in fully. I only have 870 miles on it.

What are you guys doing for a boost gauge? Who makes the A pillar pod?

Anyone using a Wideband? If so, were did you mount the O2 boss or has anyone figured out how to use and existing boss with a wideband sensor?

I had an Innovate LM2. You could use an analog output to send back to your ECU. I shouldn't have sold it....

Only thing I have left to order is the URD overdrive pulley. Has anyone used one?

2. pyro gauge
3. knowledge of stock operation.
Ok, Thanks.
Nope, not planning to. I don't think you can make any changes without voiding the warranty. It sure seems to run fine like it is!
