I just bought a Flowmaster 17432 for my Taco and the idea was to install it myself. I did not read the entire instructions in the page and at the very bottom it says:

For a cleaner appearance and more secure installation, we highly recommend welding all slip fit connections.

Anyone has tried to install it without the welding part?!?! I am going to be OK if I don't weld it?
Any help will be gladly appreciated.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Yes, you will be fine if don't weld it. Just use the appropriate size u-bolts.
