I had used Magnaflows in the past and was happy, but after reading good reviews on here about the Dynomax (Chris4x4), I decided to go that route. I went with the 17747 and got it for $48.34 shipped @ Street Side Auto by using a promo code MC1 (5% off). :) Welded in myself and was pretty happy with results. I just need to add a turn down.

Many posts on here differ in saying the exhaust tube is 2.50" or 2.25". Mine is 2.25" and thus, the 17747 is a 2.25" in/out muffler. Many of the suggested part #s on TW are for 2.5" in/out mufflers.

    Now the pictures:

For clarification, when I say 2.25", that means an ID of 2.25". OD is approx 2.38".

It sounds good, IMO. I didn't want it to be loud, just deep and different from stock. I could personally go for a little louder without an issue, but the milder sound is better for the wife and kids. There is no drone from what I have experienced so far. My last vehicle had a Magnaflow that droned when at cruising speed on the highway and it really wore on your ears.
