Supercharger with TRD intake???

Hey whats the deal with toyota saying the supercharger will not work with a TRD intake!!!?? that makes no sense.. i know some guys on this forum have both together. Why do they say this? and did the dealer say anything when you got the supercharger installed? will they still warranty it?

I have both along with the exhaust. Toyota warned me that the combination will fail inspection for emissions. Good thing I don't have to worry about that until 2012. Yes - Toyota will warranty everything.

That is reassuring.. It looks freakin awesome all set up like that. How was the power increase when you put the supercharger on?? what mileage were you getting before and now after? Was IT WORTH IT!!! i want one! haha

just finished bull bar / lights / grill last week... i should be good on mods for about another day or two... next will be a tonneau cover. I'm finishing my sub box right now - pics to follow soon.

I was still under 100 miles when I got the sc installed. I did notice the power increase, but not to its fullest... i was / am still breaking in the engine. Not sure about the mileage; all I know is that I am currently getting 17 mpg on conservative highway driving. Definitely worth it... I financed everything with the purchase of the truck... (even though Toyota gave me a problem about it, it was too late - I already signed all the paperwork).
