Yep, I bought some drilled/slotted rotors for my last car and noticed cracking on one of them in a short period of time with normal braking. I was thinking WTF..... there goes 200 bucks down the drain

drilled rotors are more susceptible to cracking, but is very dependent on the manufacture's quality.

There is a reason Corvettes come with drilled rotors from the factory and not slotted. Designed for performance, as well as reliability (bet they aren't cheap to replace).

I have them. They stop really nice...I highly recommend them with some TRD brake pads. I have AutoZone Duralast pads myself.
