Does anybody know how to convert drum brakes to disk brakes? Is it very difficult?

If you are thinking about this for the rear, there are conversion kits available. However, you get reduced stopping power by going to rear disk. To do it right, you need to replace the brake master cyl., booster, as well.

It can be fairly complex. You have to rebuild the majority of the braking system.
If you have a 2nd Gen truck- The folks who have tried it have not had good luck with the results.

Speaking for the 5-lug guys, there are a number of rear conversions available. Most are designed to work with an aftermarket BBK though to keep the braking bias the same.
