Flowmaster installed vertically???

Ok, so... I had a 40 series installed on my 05 taco, it sounds good. But... the muffler is vertical instead of the traditional horizontal, also the muffler's inlet/outlet is 3" while my piping remains at 2.25"(it was adapted). Does any of this affect my performance or truck? I appreciate your feedback!

No, it wont change your performance being mounted like that. My dad use to do all kinds of custom exhaust and he's mounted stuff on several different trucks like that to save room.
