p0420 update....

Well so far I have replaced both my o2 sensors today. And they both were shot, black as hell, and the rear even had some fuel on it. So Im hoping that this will keep the CEL off! But If the code comes up again, and both sensor are still good, I am def. going to put my URD o2 sim. in. I freakin hate this damn code!!!!

Im about to clean my TB, and do another drain and fill with M1 ATF synthetic. I will then have about 1/2 of my fluid synthetic. And then clean her up and put my URD sticker on my rear window.

I will def. get some new pics, I also took my rear flaps off a couple weeks back, lovin the look!

I got a quick question! If the P0420 code does come back, I hope it doesnt! But if so, and my o2 sensor's are still good, Can I run the o2 sim. with both cats, even though there probably not performing at 100%?

Oh, and I've been running rich, could this be caused by the the sensor's failing, or a bad cat? thanks!

 

And also, will the o2 Sim. correct my Rich condition, or not?

you run too rich for too long.....say bye bye to the cat. it can eat it up.

 

huh... Well It hasnt been that long maybe a couple weeks, but I havent drivin alot. So By fixing the o2 sensors, would it fix my running rich problem? Or would it be a faulty cat?

K, thanks! Both my sensor's were shot, they were very black! So I hope this fixes my problems!
