I'm pretty sure you are right.

No one makes a ring and pinion for a 1st or 2nd Gen Tacoma in 4.11.

Yukon gear and axle has ring and pinion for a 4.11 for $1000 and that is for the rear only. They don't make a front.

I WOULD BE SHOCKED if someone found an aftermarket 4.11 ring and pinion for a 1st or 2nd gen.

CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG

It honestly wouldnt cause any problems. I have plenty of friends who have 33s and havent regeard including my old set up. I'm at a 35s now and definitely needa regear. Also regearing with 33s would best be at 4.10 IMO 4.56s would be good for me.

But there is no 4.10 ring and pinion for the front.

So you can't regear to 4.10 unless you have 2wd

Obviously, you are talking 2nd Generation.

The 1st Generation you can't because it is a 7.5 Rev Gear in the front

So we are both right and wrong
