Werty is a straight up guy and a Long time member of XRU and TW. So know the facts before you make it your place to discredit someone of their work.

Not quite enough said. I didn't say he's not a straight up guy, and his long time memberships are nice, but don't count for anything. The only fact i mentioned is that his videos now need to be viewed with skepticism since he has posted an admitted fake. If you know him personally and know his real from doctored video, that's fine. I've seen two of his videos and one was fake. I'm supposed to not wonder if his next one is real? Right.

I don't know anyone on here, but can't you tell that the "fake" supercharger was meant as a joke? Why don't you ask Werty yourself?

I agree. I have no doubt that the video showing at the beginning of this thread is the real thing. I saw it when it was originally posted several months ago, and I didn't doubt its authenticity then either.

The fake video reference was made in response to a link in a post made way back: http://www.xr-underground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36870

No hate here. It's my opinion that things would have been better off if a fake video wasn't created. There were plenty of doubters about the original video without fueling the fire by putting up a very similiar fake. And even if others don't feel the same, I'll view future videos with skepticism.

Shouldn't all videos be viewed with skepticism? It was pretty obvious from the get go that whitty did not retrofit a KB 2.2 to his Tacoma, not only that, who would have actually thought the video was real?

It was obvious to many, but quite a few thought it was real: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...-bell-twin-screw-supercharger-tacoma-wow.html
And yes, all Internet videos and photos should be viewed with skepticism.
