Anyone done a side exit in front of the rear passenger tires?

Hello everyone,
I am fairly new on the forums here and had my 06 taco for a bit over a year now with just a glasspak I threw on there for giggles. I got a flowmaster 40 single in dual out and wanna do either a dual out the rear or a dual set out the passenger side in front of the tire. I have heard mix feelings about this setup from other forums as some trucks experienced problems with the exhaust stripping the clear off the rims and oxidizing the aluminum. Has anyone done this on their truck or experienced issues?

-Justin

mine comes out directly on the passenger side in front of the tire. Had it like that for 3 months now, no problems. Im just running a straight 3 inch pipe with no back cats and no muffler.

Here is my vid:

Borla pushed torward Y-pipe exit out before passnger rear tire. Not bad. Just hate the tip.

Will convert to 3" Monster exh due to SC install. But, if I was staying NA, would probably run this setup with a better tip for originallity:
