installing TURBO TIMER?

    anybody installed an HKS turbo timer in they 2009 tacoma? let me kno thanks

    If your turbo is oil and water cooled you will not need a turbo timer unless it gives you a warm fuzzy. If it's just oil cooled a timer may not be a bad idea, or just give it some idle time and no hard running before shut down.

    i'm pretty sure it'll come with instructions and if you could pull off the turbo it won't be a challenge but i'd love to see some pics:drool:

    98 Tacoma V8 (LS1) swap
    LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
    Its easy you just tie it into the ignition, just get a basic wiring schematic and it shouldnt give you much trouble. I usually run a seperate relay to feed power into the circuit.
