Throttle body spacer.. yea or nay

So I've been considering getting a throttle body spacer for my '08 prerunner, however I've been told by a few people that own different kinds of trucks that they are a joke. But then again I've heard that they do have some benefits. What do you guys think?

 

Yes, so long as you have it paired up with a nice Cold air Intake system and a nice Cat back system. It just depends on who you talk too

If you putting on there all alone, then all your going to get out of it is a nice whistle noise like a super charger, and that is it.

All I've ever heard is they're a scam and waste of money. If they did any good Toyota would already have them on the stock engine.
