AFE intake system

I have the 4" deck plate mod with a AFE drop in filter with a air raid intake tube. I was wondering if the AFE intake system is better than what I have now? WIll I gain more hp and performance if I was to switch over to the AFE intake system? Or do both of these intake systems perform the same?
