First, as a newby, hello to all!

I have been looking at the URD True CAI, and am just looking to hear from some you who are running it. Has anybody had any problems with water while driving in heavy rains? Just seems to me that rain would be driven right into the filter...???

Ok...but wouldn't the cover negate the efficiency of the filter?

No it dont its a prefilter. Its water repellent and will keeps bugs and other things from hitting and getting stuck in the filter. We use prefilter on our dirt track race cars to keep the mud from cloging up our air filters. When it needs to be cleaned just take it off and clean it and your filter is stil in great shape. The air flow thru the prefilter is not restricted at all.
