    Hi everyone,

Just got the trd supercharger on last saturday. I have been reading that a intake on the charger will void the warrenty however alot of people were using the gen 1 trd or afe stage 2 with no problems. Is this with just the reflash that toyota does with the charger? Has anyone had any problems with the engine running to lean with the afe intake?

    Thanks for any info!

I am running one and have not had a single problem. I am running the AFE with Dry filter. Only threw one check engine light because my filter was packed with dirt.

I am also running the 2.85" pulley on it. They cant void your S/C warrenty jsut by putting on an intake. They have to prove that your intake caused the S/C to fail and if you have a good dealership its not even an issue.

Are there any power differences when adding the AFE or change in felt RPM when max HP is reached?

It would take far more upgrades in addition to a CAI in order to run too lean... An AFR gauge can prove this

    Agree with Tron.

Most the reflashes are pig rich because Toyotas attorneys told them to.

There's always the possibility of a fubar, always.....always.....always run a wideband

No problems at all for me. I have the S/C with the aFe stage 2 with the pro dry filter.

Here is the one I have (I found it online for under $300)

Not true. This is the thread that drove me to post the thread about the charger warranty. It explicitly says no pulley and no intake

Use your intake all day long, but when you take your truck in for any service whatsoever, replace it with the OEM intake. Safe > sorry

I put on the afe intake when I installed the supercharger. Drove it to the dealer to have them flash the ECM with the afe.
