I am getting ready to buy a new exhaust and I think I want a magnaflow 18in muffler. I want either a dual out the back or duals coming out at 45 degrees. I also want some 3.5 in tips to put on the ends. My problem is that I can only seem to find the magnaflow muffler I want in a single in single out. Can you make this come out into duals somehow? Maybe a Y pipe after the muffler? Also would it alter the sound of it if you had to turn a single in single out into duals somehow? I would really appreciate it if anyone could post pics of their dual exhaust. Thanks

The y-pipe after the muffler is definitely possible if you dont go to a lazy exhaust shop. My buddy did the same thing on his 2003 tundra but instead of a muffler he just put in a solid pipe then y'd it in to 2 out to a 45. Hes got a couple videos on youtube.

best sounding tundra ive ever heard but as far as the duals changing the sound im not sure, i believe i had read somewhere on this site that duals dont really change the sound but are just for looks.

and when people tell you 'duals are pointless on v6 engines" just ignore them and do what you want.
