I'm thinking about buying an Aero Turbine A2525XL for my '12. But, i'm not quite sure how much it will cost to install it. I sure as hell don't know how to and I don't wanna get ripped off for it. I'm guessing they'll have to cut some pipes to install it and stuff but i'm not sure. Does anybody know how much I can get this installed for and by what kind of shop?

call a few muffler shops and shop around.....go with middle of the road prices, no need for top dollar work, but the cheapest lowballer may do crap work.

its not something everyone enjoys doing (welding over ur head).

sorry I cant give u a price range......Im personal friends with the owner of a shop and never pay full price.

I had the AT2525XL installed at a local muffler shop.
Cut out factory muffler and 3 ft of pipe (the bend in front of the muffler).
Install new pipe, hangers and weld connections.
Cut exhaust end and weld on chrome tip.
Paint welds with high heat paint.

    U$80.

That is a little high but the shop had lots of recommendations and warranty on their work.

$40 - $60 usually is the average for just dropping in your new muffler, I've done this quite a few times on my TACO
