Is a throttle body spacer worth the dough/

I want to increase HP with out spending the 3K on the super charger (just yet). I already have the Airaid intake with custom (not box bought) exhaust. I have been looking at throttle body spacers and not sure if the minimal HP is worth the 300 simoleans. What are your thoughts/experiences.

 

Thoughts; not worth it, very minimal, if any gain at all besides noise.

Experience; none, so ^ can be taken with a grain of salt.

 

Throttle body spacers are useless. Look into the URD Mass Air Flow Calibrator instead.

So adding a TBS will add whistle?? Thats lame

 

A little bit, more like a 'whoosh' sound when the engine revs. I think the idea is it's supposed to give that turbo spooling sound. Realistically, the sound is about the only change you'll notice.

 

I can think of two styles that are worth it.

 

And neither one is on the shelf for $24.99 at your local Autozone
