    I was thinking of swapping out my old 3RZ engine and was checking these guys out. www.LCengineering.com It has probably been posted before. If i don't swap my engine im just going to upgrade the parts or whatever. Im almost at 200,000 miles on my 02 taco.

    oh i was just wondering if anybody has done an engine swap and if anyone has checked these guys out.. sorry hahah i got distracted and ended up submitting this..

    i've heard good things about LCE

    a buddy of mine who runs Ftoy class in WEROCK uses one of their 22R (or maybe 22RE) motors and is very happy with it

    They make some quality stuff. I have swapped a few engines, and am going to be swapping in an LCE 22r into an old 86 4x4 one of these days.

    how about the headers compared to other companies? how much do you think those push?

    For the 3RZ, the North West Off Road Try "Y" header gives better gains. I think I got about 12 or 15 hp from that header alone.

    Even though the NWOR header claims to not need gaskets, Its BS. EVERY header needs gaskets. Use OEM Toyota gaskets for a no leak seal. And get some Copper RTV to use along with it.

    It will work on the autos. You just have to move the dip stick around. Disconnect the dipstick tube when installing, then you have to give it a slight bend. Fits fine.
