I just had a Flowmaster 50 series Delta installed on my 07 Access cab yesterday and it is too quiet for my liking. I'm wanting to either get a 40 series or a regular 50 series off eBay and switch it out. What specs fit the Tacoma as far as inlet and outlet dimensions go? thank you

i have a 40 with duals, but a 2.5 or 3 inch in/out center, and it doesnt have to be offset will work for ya.

by the way......go with the 40,you will be much happier, guaranteed!!!

Thanks for the replies fellas; I'll be getting a 40 series off eBay this next month. What dimension size should i look for (C/O, 2.5/3, etc.)? For some reason the Flowmaster catalog does not list 2nd gen tacos.

2.5/ 3 will work. if you get a shop to install it, all they will do is bridge the gap when they weld it, so you will be good to go.

I just bought my truck and it had a flowmaster on it... Not too loud but just not my style so i had it removed..
$40.00 plus shipping if you are interested?? PM me or email me.
10x13 picture attached... Truck has 43K on it... I have no clue on how long the muffler had been on?
2.5 intake (the pipe welded on it 2 1/4od)

I thought it sounded great i just didn't want the Ricer sound..

Custom snorkel/intake, 6" lift, 35X12.5 mt's, flowmaster 40 seriers, performance clutch, custom skid plate, grille, everything is black on green, rotrex supercharger, 7th injector kit, urd short throw shifter, thorely header, kks speed limit defender...and more to come
Also if you are looking to make a little more noise around the neighbor hood you can cut off the exhaust at the outlet and angle it down slightly ( i used a piece about 6" long and it was just a 45 degree angle down) ..it will make a definate change in sound, but be warned if you dont angle it down and just leave it coming straight out, all of that stuff coming out of your exhaust will get all over your rear end and corrode everything.

Well it all depends what kind of sound you are looking for and the emission standars in your area play a small role as well......

should be good for a little performance gain, and you may want to get the urd maf calibrator and maybe a urd tcai...............it will equal a very nice performance gain for your x-runner i think.

have you heard what the super 44 sounds like??? its the loudest muffler that flowmaster has out......and it sounds really good and loud.

on your exhaust, you may want to cut the tail pipe a little way back from the muffler and put a turn down on it......should make it good and loud for ya.
