    I'm pretty sure more than one of you guys have changed your axle ratio on a 2nd gen. 2wd taco. I'd like to know what gear ratio you went with and how it turned out.

    you would get more info if you stated why you wanted to change R&P ratio. to comp for oversized tires. to take off easier pulling a trailer etc. 4 banger v6

    I got the 2tr and would like to get a little more low end torque so i could kick off the line. Well its a street truck.

    i will let some1 that has actually regeared a 2nd gen give you his/her input. i have only regeared offroad vehicles and was for a totally different purpose. was only tryin to help you get the info you were after. try using the search function there is prolly a gear chart on here somewhere. Welcome to TW by the way

    type in gear ratio on the search function there are like 10 threads to read that might have a little info on what your lookin for...NP. once ppl start wakin up some1 will answer your question better than i can
