Flowmaster or Magnaflow

I am wanting to get a new muffler for my 2002 V6. I am mainly looking to improve the sound. What is the best muffler to get?

 

Either will do. I have a 40 series two chamber and I find it annoying to me.

And - What exactly are you looking to accomplish with a new exhaust?

On my 95 Chevy 1500 I had a Flowmaster, but when a baffle blew out, I tried a Magnaflow. I thought they both sounded good, but the Magnaflow seemed to be better made in my opinion. My Flowmaster problem might have been a fluke, so you probably will be happy with either.

 

id agree. However, my 40 series flow gave me a little bit of throttle response and pretty nice sound. I wouldnt mind a bit deeper though.

Both mufflers are great, no rasp, no rice, worth the money. (depending if you get new piping)

 

Or a Dynomax for power and sound! magnaflow and dynomax are the 2 I would choose.
