    Don't know how much longer Dixie is gonna be around. Noticed a lump on her side a while back, and was playing around with her a couple days ago and noticed a few more starting to come up. She has days where she has a ton of energy and is super playful, then days where she doesn't want to move much. She's around 11 years old, and I'm pretty sure she's got some arthritis in her back hips. With it gettin cold her energy level has gone way down.

    Oh man, so much sadness , she's beautiful... It took over 3 years before I was ready for another dog... Now I have her & 10 puppies about a week old...holy shit its work....

    Thanks for the kind words Eric...she wagged the tail just before to pass away in my arms...it was from a cancer too but somehow she made it to the end without a single complaint. It's crazy how you realize how they actually communicate with you in a way. I new way in advance, what date/where and how she would go...

    I'm sure courage and Sam are playing together on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
