    Hey guys,

    Had some time off from flying so did a little tour of Adana, Turkey. Mostly museums and mosques, but truly beautiful site! Had my DSLR with me so I figured I would give HDR a shot. Didn't have a tripod (kicking myself for not bringing/buying one), but I still tried. Let me know what you guys think and what I should do. I didn't do any post editing so if you have any tips in that department, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    To be completely honest. I wouldn't have known they were HDR unless you told me. Only the first 2 give me a clue.

    you need to get an editing program like photomatix pro. this will allow you to be able to get an actual hdr picture.

    That's what I'm using, I'm just not sure on how to move the sliders? I have the camera in auto bracket, take the three shots, upload them in to photomatrix, i just don't move the slides around. I guess i just need to play with that.

    yeah check out this site it will definitely help you. on page 2 it talks about all the sliders in photomatix.

    also when you dont have a tripod dont take 3 shots just take 1, since you can easily change the exposures in photoshop

    Yes, play with the sliders. I would also recommend taking 5 photos for daytime, and 7-9 for night time. The more, the better. Also, check out:

    If you use one, you will not get the HDR effect. Hence, High Dynamic Range. If you look at the cars parked pumping gas, notice that they are all under exposed.
