Nikon D7000

here is Nikon's new mid range camera, its due to release in October

 

I was checking it out this morning it looks pretty nice. I look like nikon might of built it on the 300s 700 frame.

 

Specs look pretty impressive. I am in the market for a new camera to replace my D70s which is starting to die on me. I was trying to decide between the D2Xs and the D300s, but now it looks like I have to look into the D7000 as well. Kind of sucks that my CF cards and EN-EL3 batteries aren't compatible with it.

 

I got The nikon D5000 earlier this year and i am very happy with the picture quality.
the only down side is being the cheeper model i can not use some of the older nikon lens that have the screw type auto focuse.
you can still use them in the manual mode,
something to look at if you have older nikon lenses.
the D90 works with all lenses
over all i am happy with the buy
