Gear: Canon 40D, 135mm f2, 3x AB800s, 3x Cybersync Triggers, Vagabond II
Strobist: 2x AB800 camera left @ 1/8, 1x AB800 camera right @ 1/8, F2.2 @ 1/250th, ISO 100
I was shooting much farther back and to the right, obviously, since I was using a 135mm prime lens. I framed the front quarter of the car against the factory in the background. Looking at the photo, you should be able to figure it out.
You can get a general idea of how I use a basic three light setup in this photo. Three AB800s, two camera left, and one camera right. I shot them at a relatively low power so that I could use a wide aperture and get a nice depth of field.
You'll see the mess of chords, power strip, and vagabond towards the bottom right of the photo. Excellent for shooting on location, but setup times can be longer than expected due to all the wires
