    those are the best spots...

back in 1998 i did a shoot on a pier like that in a town in Nor Cal called Alviso i think it was called... just north of San Jose...

i need to find my old portfolio book and scan it...

it had a similar vibe to your spot, but in black and white, it took on a creepy feel... haha...

I'm flying to Oklahoma tomorrow and had a quick question. I wanted to take my camara as a carry on, will I have any problems?

    lol.

It also helps if you're taking your camera and charger, if it has cords and what not, just mention that to the x-ray person. Something like "I've got a camera and it's charger in this bag". They might want to see it though I've never been asked.

    Easy peasy.

you should be fine. my carry on back pack is all camera gear plus lap top. I have a ton of wires in the upper pouch consisting of chargers, usb for ipod cord, and various other things. I dont say anything.

oh yeah, separate your laptop from your gear during xray, they'll tell you that.

I think you did pretty well. They could use a bit of an exposure bump but that might just be me.

Only comment would be on the second. Not crazy about the flash. In the fourth, it works pretty well.

It's one reason to shoot manual ;) Then it doesn't matter so much.

I saw this on fstoppers recently. Really interesting video on shooting weddings. The whole thing is $300 but you get an idea of what it includes.

Thought they could be fun to play with once I pick up a dslr

Here is a pic of all the stuff..
