    Thousands.

Site like Flickr is probably around 5-10k and then the servers and storage needed, add up fast.

    Damn..that sucks. Wtf.

    Lots...see build
I swear you could download them in original size before? Just right click on the image...
I've just been uploading the reduced size anyways...I don't use flickr as a storage system, just to show them here.

On a different note, I've been thinking about my extender (canon ef 2x II) and I realized that it does have electrical contacts between the lens and the body, but it has never worked for me. What should I do to try and repair it?
EDIT: Nevermind, just read on the extender description that the lens has to be f/2.8 or faster to keep autofocus. lame!

    What haven’t I changed?
Most Canon DSLR's will only autofocus if the max aperture is f/5.6 or larger. Some of the professional bodies can go up to f/8.

So everyone hates flickr now? Honestly, creating your own site for photos it is pretty cheap. Most could pass on just free hosting...it would just go down occasionally and you would be limited to an extent.

You don't need a ton of space for just yourself and the design can be simple as you will probably just show your friends and family. Monte you can probably easily make one now that you have had an introductory course in web design and everyone else can just use a cookie cutter site.

Yea but still have to pay for hosting. I have an old computer at home im gonna look into making my own server.

Might be able to make something. Who knows.

i'll live with flickr..but not a fan of the new layout.

You can find some cheap hosting. Even at $5 a month that's only $60 a year. If you are that into photography then its really not a steep payment to have freedom to host what you want, how you want it, and have your own little site to give out to friends and family.

Or you can just go with free hosting and have some limitations.

Yeah, its also just a fun past time. Something else to play around with when you got an hour to kill.

It looks like smug mug is $5 a month or $40 a year so its fairly equivalent.
